Made famous by the legendary Australian Crawl; Mount Eliza has a colourful history, parts long term Mount Elizaians would rather keep secret. “The Mount” as it’s known locally; offers plenty.  A fantastic village culture, excellent beach options, clubs to join and outstanding primary and secondary schools.

When it comes to real estate you’ve much to choose from.  The suburb is divided into a number of estates and sub division going way back to the early 1950’s when large landholdings were carved up and sold off. (Some may have changed hands during a poker game).

You’ll find a diverse range of architectural styles from out there 1970’s to modern sleek designs.  Homes closer to the village tend to be built on “normal” sized blocks 750sqm – 1500sqm; whilst on the opposite side of Nepean Highway along Tower Road, Wooralla Drive and into Woodlands Estate it’s common to find homes on 2400sqm – 4500sqm.

Newer estates have developed over the years with some surprisingly large homes taking advantage of vistas over the Moorooduc plains.

In 2017, a Mt. Eliza property overlooking the bay was sold in excess of $12M.

The township has a successful sporting community, the local junior football club; Mt. Eliza Red Legs is one of the largest junior clubs in Australia.

Mt Eliza is a fluid township, despites its continuing evolution and changing face it’s held onto its beachside hamlet feel.  A great place for families, the community is an eclectic mix of professionals, business owners, tradies and creative types all of whom have interesting stories.
